Seems like it's been ages since I've done a blog post! Life can catch you unawares and poof there it goes flying past you! ^_^
I'm in the planning stages for my St. Patrick's Day creations, which means I'm hunting down ideas for my next crafts. Thanks to Google searches and getting started with Pinterest I have so many resources to choose from I'm not sure what to decide on!
Here are my favorite three so far. I might do variations on some of these as I sketch out my ideas.
Pot of Gold
I love this little pot I found, and it would be great for a simple pattern. I'm trying to think if I wanted to do the gold like you see here, or if I want to make a small pile of coins instead. Oh the choices! I know one thing I want to change is the shamrock to either be more detailed or with four leaves.
For those of us that haven't a drop of Irish blood in us this is a great option to avoid the pinching! (My husband has an Irish background, but not little me. I be a German/Austrian Lass.) Last year I made a cute lasso style necklace with a blue rose. These would also make great miniature earrings!
Leprechaun Bowler Hat
I love this style over the Top Hat version. This could be whipped up super quick and would be a fun way to join in the festivities! I wonder how it would even look in different colors, which would be an interesting take on the rainbows you see associated with the Pot of Gold.
... and something to do with Rainbows. Though what that would be I haven't figured out just yet, but that's what brainstorming is for isn't it?
What are your favorite things during St. Patrick's Day?

I've been crafting since early 2010 and have become "hooked" on crochet ever since. My inspiration often comes from my family and anything adorable.
