Proof I don't just pin every interesting project on Pinterest! (Though I do that a lot. :D) I met this wonderful woman this past summer, and while becoming friends she asked me to do a pillow for her. She loves the beach theme and neutral colors so I combined this Star Fish pattern with a Basketweave Pillow to make this much fought over pillow in her house!
The original pattern was for a washcloth, but what a great way to adapt a pattern to suit your needs. Here are some more ideas for you boards! Here's something to wear and relax in after working out. Keep warm outside this fall with this beautiful beanie, stretch those sore muscles in your new Yoga Socks, then snuggle up with a comfy pillow and some pastel Pine Cones. I don't know about you, but those pine cones are so calming and have me looking forward to winter coming.
I can't tell you how many times I have turned to my husband and asked if there was too much crochet around our house. Happily I haven't reached the limit yet (hurray!) but I don't want to just have pieces stringing around the house everywhere. I love these pins because they are either useful or cute to use. I can always use more baskets, and especially love the one in my bathroom. It holds all of my morning prep items like hair brush, hair spray, deodorant, nail clippers. For a small counter like ours it let's me organize and still see my counter! I've seen many different ways to use these strips in projects. I have yet to try making something with them but it is defiantly on my to-do list. (One example is a Christmas wreath.) Hope these pins inspire you to start a new project. Which one is your favorite? See you all next week!
